SOUL FOOD SISTERS

Workshops

We hold a series of cooking workshops at least twice a year with the aim of providing a place for people to come together and learn cooking skills from a range of different cuisines. Over the past year we have hosted cooks from Algeria, Lebanon, Eritrea, Poland, Italy and Canada, each sharing personal recipes of their country’s soul food classics.

Workshops normally consist of a hands-on workshop learning how to make the dishes, followed by a relaxed sit down meal were you can enjoy the results of your work and each other's company. We believe that food has the power to bring people together and we hope that these evenings will teach you new culinary skills whilst also allowing you to create new connections.

Keep in touch about our upcoming workshops by checking our Events page or Facebook page for updates. We are always looking to expand the cuisines we share, so if you have an idea for a workshop or want to host one, a wee get together with friends or a private workshop, get in touch -

We look forward to cooking with you!

The hosts were so accommodating, knowledgeable about foods from their home countries and friendly. Everyone in the group could ask plenty of questions, get involved hands on and have plenty of delicious hearty food to share. It is relaxed and welcoming enough to go alone, or with a friend. Guarantee you will smile lots and learn something new.
