Join Soul Food Sisters on a collaborative and hands on cooking workshop exploring cuisines from around the world. Teaching you their home dishes, our chefs will share some of the meaning their food has to them through personal stories alongside their recipes and advice. Through this collaborative act we hope that discussions of home, family and cultures will be encouraged and new shared experiences will be made.

For this Cooking Pot special, chef Munira will be sharing recipes from her home country of Eritrea including Injera and Eritrean Coffee. Expect punchy flavours and sourdough-like pancakes!

We believe that food has the power to bring people together and we hope that these evenings will teach you new culinary skills whilst also allowing you to create new connections. The workshop will conclude in eating the well earned results of your evening's work!

All food will be vegetarian and please notify us of any further dietary requirements.

This event will take place from 6.30pm-8.30pm at Soul Food Sisters, 202 Gallowgate, G1 5DS.

:::

Part of Cooking Pot: a CCA-led project building a community of people who are passionate about food – making, sharing, eating and enjoying.

Full Price ticket - £15
